London Legacy Swimming is a multi-club collaboration, between Hackney Anaconda, Camden Swiss Cottage, Greenwich Royals and Chelsea & Westminster Swimming Clubs, which has come together to provide exciting opportunities for swimmers to compete in championship style swimming events at the host venue of the London 2012 Olympics.
Established in 2024, initially between Hackney Aquatics Club, Anaconda SC, Camden Swiss Cottage SC and Greenwich Royals SC, the team was able to put our vision into reality hosting the inaugural London Legacy Swimming Meet in 2025. Since then we are pushing forward expanding the cross-club collaboration which makes these events possible.
After Hackney Aquatics and Anaconda SC merged in 2025 to become Hackney Anaconda, a Chelsea & Westminster joined the London Legacy Swimming collaboration, showing the strength of the community across some of the top clubs in London.
London Legacy Swimming achieves its goals of providing swimmers from across not only London, but from across Great Britain, and multiple international swimmers with the opportunity to take part in a championship style swimming event through its London Legacy Swimming Meets.
We warmly invite you to joins us at one of our unique events, where swimmers are able to race and qualify for Aquatics GB & Swim England Summer Championships at the London Aquatics Centre.
We always run a full world championship programme of individual swimming events, with the opportunity for swimmers to race both in a heats and finals swim, allowing swimmers to get used to competing in high level championship style competitions.
Taking place at same venue as Aquatics GB Championships, it also offers athletes the chance to familiarise themselves with the pool and logistics of London meets.
